I care because that's what the average buyer of the non performance models will care about. If they miss the mark on styling, sales will suffer badly.

I can't understand those of you trying to tie a relationship to the Lexus? Do any of you own a new Lexus? I own 2 (2015s) and neither looks like that Camaro does. They look much better than the 2016 Camaro...
If anything, the front reminds me of a cheap 200C. Woof....

I like the new styling and can see the differences but I literally got the exact same reaction from 4 different people today. They were family and friends that aren't Camaro people, much less car people and the first thing they said was, "it looks just like your car". The casual person won't see much of a difference but if the car is pleasing to the eye it will still sell.

Any one notice on the wing the center support is missing? Compared to the teased rear end pic?

I'll keep my '11, I don't care for those angled ledges on the rear, the front isn't aggressive enough and sides have no character.

I have no doubt that this car will perform better than the current issue... But it seems to me that Chevy moved toward the styling of rest of their product line rather than distinguishing the Camaro brand with a look all it's own.
Just my first impression, seeing one in person and finding out color options may change my mind.

I'm not sure why some people are getting upset that 5th gen owners aren't jumping all over this. It looks similar, so why would you want to get rid of one just to get something similar? Unknown performance numbers aside.
Personally if the new Z?? comes out, looks similar, and is close to the power of my ZL1, there is no reason to buy new for what is more than likely going to be more money. It looks too similar to the 5th gen for anyone's jaw to drop. Now if the SS is running bottom 12s tomorrow, that may change some minds. |

It reminds me of a 5th Gen Camaro. It's really not a cosmic leap in styling. |

It'll outperform the 5th gen in every way, haver newer better technology and (hopefully) a much needed interior upgrade. There's more to it then just how much different the outer body panels are.
Everyone should just chill until we get all the info tomorrow. It's not the end of the world and the Camaro WILL continue to sell. |
