Do you think a stripper model turbo 4 could be in the 3400lb range? If so with it actually being the very base model I could see it selling rather well knowing what the eco 4 can do with bolt ons and a tune. Picture the performance of a Bolton ls1 4th gen with better mpg's. Just like the mustang it should appeal to the crowd that likes the car but wants asmaller engine. Can we dime the turbo 4 the "turbo duke"?

5th gen owner: 6th gen looks like x car (in a degrading way). Owns a 10-13 with a rear that looks like a Malibu, diffuser from a truck, and interior from a cruze.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but some of you guys sound like a broken record. The guys posting how they don't like one or two parts, that's normal. I don't like the parts I mentioned on the 5th gen, but I like the car would have bought one a few years back if I could have. Now I have another opportunity and will hopefully be buying a 6th.

I don't see how you don't get that the 5th gen guys wanted more then this. I think the played it safe. Its a smart choice on GM's part. I a "5th gen" guy would have liked to see a jump equal to the c6 to c7 vette design wise. Just because its new doesn't mean I have to drink the koolaid. Yea there cool.... They will be quicker... Just I guess I'll have to wait till the 7th gen to get the riskier styling . but from what I see I welcome them to the camaro family!

I wasnt expecting C6 to C7 but I thought they might have pushed it a bit farther than they did. as I said in my initial reaction I want to see more colors and angles

I think you guys need to realize that the 5th gen did great for GM in sales. Why would they stray so far from the design.

They kept the best parts of the 5th in terms of shape and then improved on it. It looks like a completely different car.

And it will perform completely different as well

I hope they make a 1LE version in 2016. Looks pretty good to me. Some wider black wheels and flat black hood, and I think it would look pretty sick.

I actually really like it. I wasn't expecting anything drastic from the 2014-15 model, so this pretty much falls right in line with what I was thinking it would look like (also, great work by Chaz to give us those renders!). The only thing I'm not a huge fan of right now is the hood...I think it could benefit from a sharper cowl and it looks a lot flatter than the teaser image. I look forward to seeing one at Camaro Fest though!

All I can say is there are a lot of 2015 owners that never wanted to like this new version in order to validate their previous purchasing decision and feel good about not blowing huge chunk of cash on a one year trade in.

Looks are subjective, performance can be measured. Cling to looks if it makes you feel happy.

Some of us really like the new looks, so for us it'll be win/win.
