I'm sick of them saying the "new" "6th" Generation. That doesn't look new at all. It's basically the same with a few styling cues. The differences in the 2010-2013 to the 2014-2015 were more noticeable to me. That's not a new generation. That's about a Gen 5.25.

They don't underrate it anymore. The engine is SAE rated for the car. The numbers SAE says are what it makes. The losses are usually blamed on a less free flowing exhaust but with the tubular shorties, the numbers should be as good if not better than the Corvette.

This. The difference between the LS3 in the Camaro and C6 was 4hp. That's not pulling tuning either. That's an exhaust difference.
