I for one like the wheels, when you see them on the tester car they have a lot more sculpting then what appears in this studio photo. We can assume though that there will be other choices. I wonder if this is the top trip "RS" wheel.

Looking at these wheels on the test(?) Car they look to have a bit of concave. I don't mind the wheels and they do look a lot better on the car than just as a standalone piece. Personally nothing I own has stock wheels on it for long so this isn't a huge concern for me but I'm starting to like this whole release teasers on set dates

Even though the pad surface area is the same, you can gain better braking performance by moving the calipers farther out from the center point of the rotor. |

9,000,000 computational hours? 1000 computers working simultaneously for more than a year non-stop....can't wait to experience the results.

I personally would rather have 20s than 19s, just to have more options in tires. I would also like to see a split 5 spoke with a bigger gap splitting the spokes. Having a wheel option in either a black or brushed finish would be sweet. I'm not much of a fan of shiny metal finishes. I think these two would be awesome as options. I may go in this direction if the something like one of these aren't offered: ![]()

Also, the S3 wheels look a lot like the Stingray's Z51/ZF1 wheels.

HATE the wheels. Of course, that can be "fixed." What's depressing to see is Eagle F1's. Will this be another Camaro that needs $1,000 in new rubber to drive 12 months a year? If they want to stick these things on a 1LE, ZL1 or Z2/8 equivalent, so be it, but I hope they outfit the SS with a high performance all-season this time. When you spend $30-40K on a new car, another $1,000 in rubber so you can actually drive the car you bought is a lousy proposition.

I also disagree with you "pal", the c6 Z06 rims are hideous in today's standards. The 505's are a step up from stock but I would never buy them. The Amg rims are nice and fit THAT car well. If you think the 458 rims would look correct on the Camaro body there are many places that will offer them. They will look horrible on a Camaro, of course just my opinion. Of All factory rims on the market today (not talking about super cars) the Z28's are my favorite. The rims they showed today will be very fitting on the 6th Gen. I'm not drooling over them but I also dont have plans to purchase an ss so it doesn't matter to me much. Im hoping the next gen Zl1/z28 will offer current z28 style rims.

Your opinion and I disagree. I prefer the C5 Z06 wheels.
