Look at the calipers. They're extremely small. This is not the V8.

I dont get why people dissect the visual stuff. Like the lights. The wheels. etc. Those will all be different from the actual car, I can guarantee.

Great photos, thanks for posting them.
Agreed. calipers look the same as current V6.

If it's dual mode exhaust that may account for it..

Some of the mules I have seen are single pipe exhaust, so I dont think so...Dual mode exhaust for sure...

ok, did not know that - so based solely on exhaust we can't make a conclusion on the cylinder count, but...i do believe the V8's had a honeycomb grill yes? or is that just another guess?

thanks for the info guys.

I'm saying this is a 4 banger. Dual mode V6 on the current car is the same setup as dual mode SS. Dual exhaust, two seperate mufflers and 4 tips. There appears to be one muffler under this car (assuming thats what that is center of the bumper under the car) which would lead me to think this mule is a Turbo 4. Single exhaust, one muffler, quad tips. Tips are probably y-ed off of a two single 90 degree exits out the muffler.

I think we will have a single but larger muffler, as compared to 5th Gen, for each variant, including LT4.

Hood scoop

This is most likely a 4 cylinder or V6, in the track video's that car had a significant hood bulge with 2 side vents. This car doesn't seem to have the same hood configuration, a much lower profile hood. Personally I like a functional hood scoop.

Doesn't look like this was noticed, but the front end is not close to the final look. If you look at the front close up, you can really see that there is still a good chunk of padding where the fender meets the front bumper. If you follow the line going along the eyebrow area above the headlights across the nose, it appears that the front bumper/grill area is a shell covering the real front end. Looks like it's hiding a much more pointed nose than what everyone has been guessing. This close up allows you to see the extra bulk hidden under the camo wrap. Before the padding interrupts the arc of the fender into the nose, it appears the fender line is coming down and pinching. IMHO it looks like we're going to get something closer to the new Vette nose than the current ZL1 style nose that people have been assuming. I think we've been too conservative in our guesses. This should be fun to see who's right.

I agree on the vette styling cues, because the 5 in '15 teaser pic seems to show that: the nose is pointed and the fenders are humped much like the C7. Even the general sweep from windshield over the backglass has a similar feel.

But the fenders I see in these most recent pics don't agree with that. The teaser pic shows humps that this camo'd car does not.

And then there's the unsightly gap between the back of the fender and the front of the door in one of these most recent pics. Is it conceivable that the fenders we see in these shots are not the actual 6th gen fenders? As someone pointed out earlier, you'd really expect them to be testing the final product.

But the fit and finish in these pics is rough and just don't seem the same shape as that teaser...

I don't know how they did it, but the general shape of the front in these pics doesn't seem the same as the 5 in '15 pic.

I see the styling similarities in these pics. And just as they went for a radical design change on the vette, is it possible the same mentality will apply to the Camaro and they will unveil more dramatic styling changes than we have surmised so far?

They would have to be using some fake skin on these camo cars, so perhaps that's a little far-fetched?

I dunno, I just see some baby stringray in that silhouette pic.
