Use to use my CD player but after I had my new radio installed two years ago they are collecting dust in my bedroom closet. Use my phone for all my music, the fact that even the most basic replacement radio comes with blue tooth makes you wonder how much longer CDs will be around and purchases of all music will be nothing but on a memory stick, phone etc

I used my CD one time after owning the car for 4 years back in Oct. I was pleasantly surprised how much clearer it sounded than through my ipod.

Not sure why the Camaro MyLink doesn't have a CD player, my Chevy SS has one.

Meh. CDs sound pretty damned good, no over-compression on the recordings. They are light, don't take up much space, and come with the album art and liner notes.

I seem to be able to deal with them without causing too much stress and I'm not impressed by tech for the sake of technology, so whatevs.

That's great I'm seriously glad it works out for you but me...I can't care less about having 10,000 songs on a mobile device. For me, this is a solution to a problem I don't have. Songs? Yeah sure, Hendrix is in the player so we're good to go. I don't have any desire to be the guy tapping on a little mobile device to find his next song, I can't picture Steve McQueen doing that. The next song is comin' up when this one is over. I have rubber to melt and gas to burn!

I use the Bluetooth from my Blackberry - on shuffle. It has about 370 songs.

Question... if I move songs onto a USB, does the MyLink shuffle them (if I want - assuming there might be a setting for that) or do I have go keep flipping the control on the steering wheel for the next song?

I've always been the music and audio type... I've spent thousands and thousands achieving the right sound in each of my vehicles throughout my life... I've even won 2 regional audio competitions (the only two I ever entered...) and I currently have a custom built sub box in my f-150 housing 2 memphis 12 and an adequate 1000 watt mono block amp along with upgraded mids and highs and head unit...

Very Ironically... I rarely even turn the music on in my Camaro... I'd just assume listen to the Solo Performance exhaust... I just love the way it sounds, sometimes I'll turn on the radio for background noise...

Get a flash drive and download music to it. I go to Amazon and buy mp3 music. Very simple.
