camaro ss vs corvette grand sport

Camaro ss l99- full bolt ons, very good tune, and 3.91 gears, street tires

Corvette grand sport- bone stock, street tires

My finance manager at work has the corvette and wants to run our cars, say we run from a dig and a 20 roll. Do I stand a chance?

I think you easily have him. That's basically a reg c6 from what I understand I could be wrong though

This will not be an easy win, power wise you both are about the same but he is lighter then you on weight roughly by 300-400lbs +\- you will have to launch a lot better off the line if it is a dig race and you should get the win upto 100-120mph, roll race he should win due to weight and aero dynamic

He has full bolt ons with 3.91's and the vette is stock guys. His biggest problem will be getting traction. Make sure you lower your tire psi to like 22-24

Not a easy win at all. I say very close. Your talking about a low 12's car vs a low 12's car. Driver will determine outcome.

My buddies grand sport goes 12.3-12.5@115 depending on da. Your car should be in the same ballpark but not an easy win by any means. Grand sports are actually worse in a straight line then a regular ls3 c6
