I LOVE the 14-15 tail lights but only in RS form. Non-RS 14-15 camaros all look like they rear-ended something, busted out the light covers, and the owners all put a big ugly red strip of brake light tape over em from autozone. Hideous.

I probably would have been ok with the 14-15 tail lights if I had never seen the 11-13 tail lights. To me, the 11-13s fit this car perfectly, and the 14-15s just don't do it for me.

I love the 11-13 tails too, I just prefer LED lights. there are some really good looking aftermarket LED lights for those I love, don't know the name..

Agree. I'm a fan of LED lights too, and would almost certainly get them for a new Camaro. It seems like the non-LED lights are terrible on cars that have an LED option.

I love the 5th gen, and hated the refresh tails.

OP, you get a YES, that would definitely work from me.

At first glance I got all excited, then the realization set in quickly. I hope they go this direction.

If you look at the outline of the shape of the tail lights on the C6 and compare them to the shape of the Corvette lights they look similar. The shape of the C6 lights seem to be a bit wider.

If the 6th gen got Corvette like lights, I'd be fine with that...even though I felt the 5th gen refresh should have gotten them, and the Corvette should have gotten modernized LED oval lights like the prior Vettes, but that's another topic.

The 14+ tail lights....they are OK. Not a huge fan, but I can deal with them I guess.

But, as said many times elsewhere, what kills it for me is that huge box they stamped in there for the license plate, and the after thought of a diffuser. It looks really bad....like some unfinished piece of boring plastic. It has no appeal to the car whatsoever. That diffuser would be the first thing I'd be looking to replace.

Now...the Z/28 diffuser...that's a different story. It looks great. That's what I'd go with. It helps to make the rear end not look so bad in the end. It should be standard on every Camaro, or at minimum, the SS.

Are you reading this GM?? No crappy diffusers!! Give us some style back there.

Little known fact: When the fifth gen production car was revealed there were many complaints about the rear diffuser on this site and GM actually changed the design and made it cleaner before the actual release.

Your right about that, I purchased my ZL1 this past December and I searched the east coast to find a new 2013 leftover. Just for the lights...

I have to agree, the diffuser on the 10-13 Camaro was pretty cool.

excuse me. You appeared so... oblivious. The black plastic bottom half is directly from the C7

i'm the OP. I said "corvette inspired for sure..." right after that, I went on to talk about the tail lights.. im assuming no one else mentioned the fact you stated in any of their replies to this post because I'd already said it in the original post.. plus the fact that it's so OBVIOUS.

if you really wanna get technical there are some differences, so it's not "directly" from the c7, but it's certainly "corvette inspired..." get it? lol

I honestly appreciate you joining the discussion, I was just injecting a little sarcastic humor in my reply to you
