How long should you wait before fililng a claim through paypal. I paid for RS Headlight from a member on 2/4, He shipped and provided one tracking # on 2/6. He did say he was out of town and would ship the other one by the end of the week. I have tried contacting hime through here twice ad email twice on 2/11 and 2/13 and have still not heard anything on the other RS headlight being shipped. Any thought? Or advice on how I should move forward.

I believe paypal says 7 days, ground shipping only takes 4 days from day shipped.

I would put in a claim already, you have given him ample time to send the headlight or just even respond to your PM's.

why were they not shipped together? This may have an impact on how long I would wait but I would generally say a week is plenty of time.

I filed the Paypal claim and let him know on both here and his personal email that the claim was initiated. He had a good trader rating on here that's why I didn't think anything of it. Oh well, there always a first time for everything.

WOW
Just received an email from him and he said the one he had was not up to his standard and that he had a better on to send that he would send tomorrow and provide the tracking. I just wished he would have told me sooner to avoid all this here and paypal .

I buy and sell through PayPal everyday. You have up to 45 days to file a PayPal Claim.
