Challenger SRT at an autocross...have to say it surprised me.
Anyone else seen them at an autocross. I believe it was a 14. Like I said, I was impressed with it. Time on street tires was within 3.5 seconds of the best raw time. Car was in the FS class. FTD (HIGH 28 seconds)was a little 70s rabbit with serious tires and mods. Another surprising car was a Stock G37s with Hoosiers. It had the second FTD.

That is impossible. Challengers are fat pigs that can't go around a corner. [/sarcasm]

No they go around corners, just more slowly than everything else.

Edited first post...it had street tires lol and yea that's what I thought. Granted 3 seconds is am eternity on a 30 sec course, he still wasn't even on rcomps. I think it was firestone hawks.
I will say though, it was basically two kinda "straights", a couple quick transition type turns, a big decreasing radius, and 4 walloms, and a 4 cone slalom. So nothing too terribly tight ht |

Oh yea that must be it ![]() The guy with the FTD is in this article under shopping and ownership. I wasn't able to find his entire Solo Nationals history but he's been there a lot. He was 2nd in FSP in 2013, 5th in 2012 at nationals http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/art...vw-rabbit-gti/ |

I agree they are not, was just saying it surprised me and I was comparing his time to the FTD. There weren't a lot of people out that day. Lots of novices. Only a few people were fast.
