I prefer the halos and over all look of the front end on my current gen 5

You are right, they are very close, which I can see how it would be disappointing for some. In fact, based solely on these two shots and taking the rendering for what it is, I'd say the 5th gen has more character and looks better. But I'm hoping the reveal will give us more detail, and other "stuff" that takes the car from the rendering and elevates it to that next level. If so, I'll be a happy camper. What I hope we don't end up with, is just a softened, (less exciting and less "conceptish") looking 5th gen for a 6th gen. But there should be much more to consider. A new and hopefully very nice interior with new features, and a better performing car.

If it looks pretty close to the 5th gen like the rendering but weighs less and has better handling then I say it is a win, win.

Yeah, if that's how the Gen6 turns out, meh....I'd be disappointed....Kind of looking for something more of a different look/style....
...But if performance is way up (lighter weight, more ponies) then all good....Otherwise, just looks like a re-fresh of the first re-fresh.... I still hope for something like this.... |

This looks 10x better than Ford's Fusion-Mustang mutt. The marketing meetings for that pooch must have been nauseating.

Regarding the GT350, the lowered hood, fenders and restyled front fascia make it look dramatically better than the GT. It's much more cohesive looking.

Also, a flat-plane V-8 with 8,000+ rpm ... what a beautiful personality! Oh, and I think the GT350 would look super tuff as a wide-body.

My thread, and I think everyone knows I revealed the 2005 AND the 2015 Mustang. I've also revealed Jeeps and Dodges. Everybody likes or dislikes something, as long as everybody respects others likes, it's cool. We're gonna be like three little Fonzies here.
