Pretty easy for local authorities to clear that one up, seems like. Was it the issued plate, or not. Case closed.

Reminds me of the episode they drove through the deep south with stuff written on their cars like "Nascar sucks" and "Hilary 4 Prez" on each others car. Almost got killed that episode lol.

They have pushed it quite a few times. I think Clarkson was well aware of the plate and what it implied.

I read that the plate had been on the car for years... Hopefully this makes for a great special, I know they left 3 days early.

If that car has been running with that plate since 91 without creating a riot, it's a good bet they were deliberately pushing people's hot buttons

The guy's a douche, but I still like the show for the fact they showcase some great cars. You figure at his age he's had a lot of practice being a dick, so what comes around goes around.

Ahhhh, the beauty of third- world countries... almost as charming as the Liberians who are slashing the throats of the those who arrive to assist villagers with dealing with Ebola, due to the villagers' belief that the aid workers are actually bringing evil magic in to kill the villagers off.
