Salt Water Powered Car

A salt water powered car just go approved in Europe. I wonder if it will catch on here so they can save the gasoline for us lol. But honestly with number like this car has I'd be interested in having one for myself

It just runs off batteries, but the batteries use salt water. It doesn't actually run off of salt water. It still has to be charged and what not, just like a battery powered car. Sounds like these batteries do last longer though, which is nice.

Like many new technologies, the headline generates more power than the vehicle. Better batteries are interesting, but the car still runs on coal(or oil, nat gas, nukes, etc) depending on where it gets it's electricity from.

"...almost no moving parts."

I can do better than that: My old Ford Ranger has NO moving parts. At all. Even when it did have moving parts, it was just barely.
