GM's solution - put Camaro tail lights on the new model and piggy back off the success of the new generation Camaro. Yes it made an appearance in the Transformer's movie franchise but it played second fiddle to Bumble Bee.

Yes, let's just focus on the fact that C7 has "Camaro taillights" and ignore the fact that it has a vastly improved exterior/interior design plus one of the best performance powertrains in the segment.

Never mind the fact that the '10-'13 taillights were Corvette inspired in the first place...

Actually the basis of my post was marketing, not taillights.
