Yeah.. im going to wait until my bumper is really bad and then replace it with ZL1. no point on having the shop sand the current one to repaint i guess.. But thatll be a long time from now

Did you install it yourself? There's no way the bumper will sit flush without either trimming it or replacing it with the ZL1-specific piece.

The piece in this pic. It's usually cut at the red lines or, less often, trimmed enough to flex it back (which will make it sit against the lower grill).

No I didn't install it but they told me everything they did and that is not something they had listed.

I would love to get a heritage grill but I have to pay off the $800 I just spent on new tires for my Silverado. I should get some good OT in week after next as I have to fly to Utah for work. I am paid hourly so I get paid for my travel time as well as my working hours and I will need to do some evening/night work in the server room after my regular work day ends.
