I agree 100% and yes the fact that they got the cars is puke worthy.

The 67-68 Firebird has always had the gills on the 1/4 panel... Camaro didn't get gills until 2010...If that picture of the convertible is the final product they've produced, I agree it wasn't a very good job. And the wheels? That car is not museum worthy, and they botched it... But for a regular guy that going to drive it around, it's a nice looking car.

Camaro had gills in 1969

Agree 100% that the pictured vehicle is not ready for a museum

I just watched a preview of tonight's show, as they were unloading the cars you could see both had the Gills behind the door. So maybe it was just in the picture you couldn't see them.

The TV show "Fast N' Loud" host Richard Rawlings says he has found what the industry calls the "Holy Grail" - the first two Pontiac Firebirds ever built.

Simply called "#1" and "#2," the prototypes were produced by Pontiac engineers for testing and to determine if they were to be mass produced.

Love early 'birds. Can't wait till they are finished.

Glad they called in a restoration expert... Hopefully he won't let them screw up too bad.

I'm not really a history buff on muscle cars but I saw one of these parked outside my gym and thought it was cool as hell.

It's a body shop, I'm not sure if they do some of the restorations on these beauty's but every week they have another awesome muscle car out there. Right now its a convertible GTO. The bird really caught my eye though, I intended to go back the next day to see if it was for sale but it hasn't been back since :( BTW can anyone tell me what year that bird is?

Just watched the episode awesome comes to mind. I wonder how that NBA guy or the guy before him or whatever got the cars in the first place.

As for the pics on page 1 of this thread that wont be the finished product they stated in the episode the cars are going to be original museum quality, the finished pic has to be some other car.
