That's the hard part. I'm not known to have a lot of patience. Will be well worth the wait and that is what holds me together. Lol

I am currently making 720rwhp with everything ported. I am running a 2.5/9.5 pulley combo making 14lbs. This is in the thin air in Denver at a mile high. On the dyno torque was 650 from 2800 to 6600. I am thinking this poor little blower is maxed and don't think I would see a huge gain going to the Heartbeat. We need someone to come out with a bigger blower.
Any thoughts? |

this is a interesting thought.... but i would like to know the same question... what are the RPM restrictions on this thing? no way in hell is it turning 22000 and only making 14#s on a stock motor.. even with full bolt ons.. a 1.9 will make that at that rpm..

I saw the adm 417 heartbeat combo on the dyno. 835rwhp and 885 rwtq. That was an 8 rib 9.55 lower and a 2.75 upper. Average boost was around 14lbs. It had a 9.73 lower and a 2.70 upper ADM designed lsa 10 rib installed after that. I did not get to see the numbers. But i know it made 900+ rwtq with no belt slip at all. The thing was a monster. Flow numbers are way above the ZR1 2300 numbers i saw. And that was with the stock 90 tb vs a 102. Im planning a 10 rib lsa drive swap and a heartbeat on my current 417 with a stage 3 tooley cam. Should pick up some great power and resolve the whole multi belt slipping issue my current setup has.

When I made my runs last summer it was 98 deg and corrected DA was over 9000ft. The air is thin here and I need to move a ton of it to make power. Heads are stg III, and everything is very ported to try and move some air.

additonal information on the Heartbeat
Today we weighed both the Magnuson Heartbeat Assembly, and the factory LSA supercharger assembly, just for curiosity sake.
The Factory Supercharger Unit weighed in at 71.5 lbs. The Magnuson Heartbeat unit weighed in at 65lbs The Heartbeat came in 6.5lbs lighter. Steve |

So I have friend of mine running this system and he wants to sell it to me it is 6 months old and has traveled 6000 miles with a pulley combo of 7.8 and 3.14 so the peak rpm is 16100rpm
The system includes: • Heartbeat specific OTR(over the radiator) CAI • 8 high-flow fuel injectors • Direct replacement 2.5Bar MAP sensor • Factory "push-lock" connectors • Front mount Heat Exchanger • GM LS9 fuel rail system • All necessary fittings, lines, belts, hardware and comprehensive fitting instructions. Any ideas what you think i should pay? This is in Australia to suit a Holden and here brand new they cost $10,200 which includes all the above. He wants to sell it as he has stock 10.2:1 compression on an L77 (6 Liter) and is concerned and also want to sell the car eventually. |
