Agreed, I road race as well, I was 'fortunate' enough to buy a 2005 before they announced the Comp Pkg, so I had a one wheel wonder. Even getting the 270+ to the ground coming out of a corner was nearly impossible. The inside tire would light up every time I started giving it gas for months until I learned how to avoid just stomping the pedal to the ground coming out of the turns.

I had an 06 Grand Pix GXP fwd ls4 v8 with like 305hp 327ftlb had crazy torque steer when u got on it lol

Yeah 6 grand in three months, two rebuilds, new TCM, new valve bodies both times, new speed sensors and it was still slipping. Bad like 3000rpm before it would roll, but no error codes or lights. Got turned down on a new tran or a third rebuild and wasn't about to pay more out of pocket for one, so I traded it for my camaro

Yeah the LS4 W-bodies are notorious for grenading transmissions.

Fun car highly optioned and pretty capable until the trans goes. I know mine did its fair share of red light racing and was of course tested to verify that the top speed was indeed governed to 145mph for research purposes lol

Even the Sonic RS makes nearly 1hp/liter. 1.4L turbo making 138hp and 148lb-ft. And thats in the budget cars.
