The shot of the Camaro on the wall is pretty cool to see, but I wouldn't put much more thought into it at this point. I like the profile, but it is just a very far out there conceptulized design.
The images on the poster board in front of it are Corvette renderings. The rendering above in this thread is just a quick photoshop. Nothing more.

Looks like it could have been a fifth gen design drawing that never made it. Looks very close to the fifth gen concept to me. The roof line and sides are different but the front end screams fifth gen. My biggest worry about 6th gen styling is that they don't stray too far from what we have now.

..I will give you that premise...but go back to my thread and see my commentary....it looks outlandish...and I will add cartoonish or movie propish. It is so far out there to gather any thought of what the final production would look like. If you think it will carry over any or much of those characteristics from asome wall hung proto design drawing I'm not seeing it. Just sayin'...

I don't know...after looking at it for awhile it's definitely a cleaned-up and more streamlined version of the 5th gen, and the artist's name is Steve in the lower right so this isn't one of the 5th gen concept drawings. The fact that there's a big bold explanation of what that image represents kind of indicates that the image is showing something that's "midway through development". And it does say CAMARO... The final grill opening would be smaller, wheels smaller, cabin taller but that may very well be an unintended peek at where the 6th gen styling is going.
And considering where that clay model shows they were in the development of the Stingray which had to be a couple of years back, that "something" Camaro was "midway through development" awhile ago. Probably pretty much done at this point. There's no question in my mind that the 2014 "refresh" was strictly the result of the Z/28 project and they decided to use those body changes across the line to help recover the development costs. The difference between the way the refresh front and back look on the Z/28 and all the other models is like night and day. That strategy worked and was doable for 2014... but if that giant graphic on the wall is correct, they were already working on the styling for the 6th gen when they rolled out the Z/28 and the 2014 "refresh". We'll see. If they do the front right as far as size of the grille and styling, that front will look super. It's the back I'm worried about. They really need an awesome fighter-jet back, not something from an Impala. Will they show something this fall with availability and pricing in the spring of 2015?

...you always make good points Doc..but I am not on board with any subliminal message with that rendering on the wall..., looks like so many others out there...time will tell though...who the heck knows...

^..good point, and Doc is very articulate I might ad. But, my argument is we have seen so many renderings, so closely grouped to one another, that one is almost blind to what the outcome may be. Whether or not it's on a GM wall in a media pic. I see no hints in the future design, just sayin''

I lime it in general , but to me some how it has a little Stangish in it
The depressions on the door and front fender and the ridges on the hood Take that out and we should have a more Camaroish car |
