Sooooo I really need to check out the sharkfin on my 2011... Found a techlink article that indicates that ALL 2011's (outside of Regal's) have the combined GPS/Onstar Coax. -

Quote:
For the 2011 model year, changes were made to combine the GPS and cell coax connectors into one. GM will release the EL-49903-3 adapter for use with the EL-49903 antenna test tool as an essential tool in October 2010. (Fig. 5) In order for the test antenna to be functional with 2011 vehicles, tool EL-49903 must be used. Test tool adapter EL 49903-3 includes EL 49903-4, test coax, and EL 49903-5, combiner.

(Fig. 5)

All 2011 vehicles with OnStar are included, excluding the Regal. The Regal will have an updated OnStar module for vehicles built after August 13, 2010.
and the OEM part number listed for the 2011 - 92237379 pictures seem to substantiate...

Interesting!

So it's really too cold outside for me to dig around in the car (about 3 degrees F right now) So what else could I do? Dig around C5 and Ebay!

Based on the thread about adding bluetooth to the camaro by changing the onstar module, I found the post here:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...86#post4763191

So, one of the two part numbers for 2011 Onstar box with bluetooth is 22739886

so, on to ebay, and searching found this auction, picturing the onstar box's antenna connections...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-CAMARO-...6f10e1&vxp=mtr

There's a connector for a bluetooth antenna, and then the GPS/Onstar antenna connector, so it is still standing to reason that the 2011's have the right sharkfin already

One less expense. My 2011 OnStar box doesn't have BT as I am driving a 1lt but I did buy one from 2014 that does have BT.

I just need to get my steering wheel controls installed before I can do the MyLink conversion as I am sure dealers will hassle me if they see the Mylink in a 2011.

So I am figuring that your onstar box has the single connector

I'll find out when I pull it out. It should be just missing the BT part.
