The voice commands and the TV integration are awesome as well as the IR blaster thing. Forza is great. Unfortunately my Y button is broken and I need to send it in to be fixed so I can't play it until they receive mine and send out a new one.

Never said I hated it. I said WHY I chose a PS4 over the XBone.

I do have one gripe that continues to irk me: some of the modification options are too generic. For instance, I've got an Eagle Talon TSi AWD (yes, on purpose lol), and let's say I want to do an engine or drivetrain swap. Under each respective category are 3 options to choose from, yet none of them have any explanation of what the upgrade consists of. You'll see a different displacement and the performance effects it will have in each category, but nothing as far as "this is what you're installing". Same for if you wanted to do a "quick upgrade" to make your car competitive under a certain tier...the game no longer gives you the option to list out what parts you're committing to purchase and install. What is this...a $40k mystery cracker jack prize? For comparison, on Forza 4 I have an Audi Q7 that I upgraded. When I went to the engine conversion section, the description of the engine swap tells me that I'm about to install an Audi TDI engine from a particular R3 class formula car (i'm at work so I don't remember which exactly, but the game gives you specifics). It was little details like that that I really grew to appreciate from the franchise. That's not to say Forza 5 isn't worth getting because it's truly great in its own respect. There are just a few differences (for better or worse) that give the game a unique, fresh experience. (Def better than Horizon!)

I thought Horizon was a great game. I thought Forza 4 was more fun than GT5.

lol in all fairness, I didn't give Horizon too much of a chance. I was too busy trying to juggle Forza 4, Borderlands 2, Pinball FX2, and Diablo 3 and couldn't make room for much else. Figured Horizon was more of a buffer to keep everyone wet til Forza 5 was released. I did like the social aspect w/ the online car clubs and cruising and such. That was a really neat idea. I may very well have missed out on a gem but it just never hit my radar.
