That's unknown at this juncture, but definitely possible. LOL, just a few months ago some execs said there was no Z06 in the works. So, anything is possible.

Also for the record, the photo below is the supposed leak of the CAD image of the LT4 blown engine. It's implementation and output are still rumors at this point.

1-13-13 was a game changer.... this new Z06 will put the icing on the cake, again. I can't wait... 2015 Z06 here I come!

That kind of weight reduction is going to be a tall order on the C7. The C6 only lost about half that amount, and a big part of that came from using an aluminum vs a steel frame -something they can't do this time around. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if it comes in 50 lbs heavier with all the stuff they have to add. And thats if it stays NA. If they go FI, +150 lbs.

And most of that weight will be on the front end, where you don't want it.
