When I picked up my PS4 I was carrying. Better safe than sorry. Those little LCPs are great concealed weapons.

Target security was outside when I went to pick up my PS4 games last Friday. Hopefully they're doing something similar.

I remember reading a rant about how Forza 5 wouldn't have as many cars as GT6 and someone pointed out all the GT series did was make a bunch of variants of the same exact car to achieve its ridiculously high car count. I never even knew that.

I do have to somewhat agree about the Grand turismo series exaggerating their car count through barely different car year and trims specs and count it as a different car when not much really changed about it. Even as a Huge GT fanboy it is laughable. I will give a few examples on how they cheat the car count. I know there are I think atleast three different 93 Mazda Rx7 with exact same Hp and other specs but one is a Rs version and another is a GT version with a bigger wing and BBS wheels even though its really just like the Rs version. Another is with the Nissan skyline GTR's I think there are three R34 Midnight purple editions, which is just a color change. So yea Gt does inflate it a bit. But they do have enough variety I think in reality taking out some of the variants its more like 600 to 700 uniquely different cars.

The thing that really pissed me off about GT5 was that they just imported a bunch of cars from GT4. The models were horribly ugly, and it was OBVIOUS. So F'n lazy for a game that took SO LONG to get released.

Well its not that bad in all honesty yea they did take a lot of models and just import them from Gt4 but not the premium cars you buy in the dealership those are fully rendered cars that have nothing to do with Gt4 and its the only cars I used to do the photo mode. And its not like they lied about it and said everycar was gonna be amazingly detailed cause it takes so long to render one car I believe its like months at a time per car.

Played Forza till 4am. I really like it but the online multiplayer is still choppy. Your opponents still look like they're skating around the track. Just bought a diamond deck covered IROC. Haven't played DR3 yet, I'll get to it eventually.

Okay, so far so good, but have run into a couple weird sporadic issues.

1. The initial power on did not work at first, I had to switch my surge protector On/Off and then it powered on fine.
2. HDMI pass-through is a little quirky. It works, but I turned off my Xbox One and then later came back and turned it on again to come back to a blank screen. Had to disconnect the HDMI Sat/Rec In connector to even get the Home screen to show up.

Hopefully these issues don't recur. Anyone else finding weird issues?

It appears to be working right now.

Going to install Forza 5 now.

BTW, being able to scan codes in rather than entering codes manually for Game Extras with the Kinect 2.0 is freaking awesome!

Don't scan codes while the game is installing. I did that and it told me it wasn't able to redeem the code. Tried it after install was over and it said the code was already redeemed. Never received my day one cars for Forza. Also the quick start guide tells you how to set up everything except for a sound system. Apparently you have to buy a digital audio cord that isn't included. Took a lot of searching to find out about the cord.
