I'm kinda surprised R&D has fallen off for the LLT, seems like with them being found used more folks that wana mod would own one..

Side note, are they still putting the LFX into the 2014s?

IDK. i would think so. I think that was a Sh.. move from GM to switch to a different engine in a few years.. but oh well.. I dont think Ill trade for a SS but I will eventually buy a V8 one day..still kepe my SIX too

At least they found an engine to stick with for a few years..

In my Camaro daydreaming I was trying to figure out where the LFX picked up the extra Hp.. I think its from the plastic manifold. You figure the ice-olator helps cool the metal manifold on an LLT and gets about 20hp so maybe that plastic one in the LFX is not heating up...

It also flows the air through better than the LLT manifold

Yea I'm about 99% sure the extra power is from the manifold.

What's weird is that the LFX is remarkably similar in design to the Pentastar that my buddies Charger has. I was poking around his engine the other day while we were installing his CAI and I noticed that they too have a plastic manifold as well as integrated exhaust manifolds.

Yup but I been meaning to go out to one of there meets lately.. I'm also trying to find someone locally to install a set of rally stripes I purchased if you have any ideas..

mmm, yes. if you can drive down to Dover. find Accurate Tinting. the owner is a pretty cool guy who install my hood stripes. We did a good job. Or you can go to their thread and ask them. I think one of their guys got some stripes on lately.
