That is a pretty looking jeep. I don't have much trust for the Grand Cherokee though. I bought a Cherokee sport in December of '95 for 19k. In 2000 I gave the Cherokee Sport to my mother and bought a Grand Cherokee Laredo for around 30k. In 2006, the Laredo pretty much fell apart. My mom had the Cherokee Sport repainted this year... it still drives great and has had no maintenance problems ever. Its a shame they got rid of the sport... it was a much better vehicle in terms of ruggedness and longevity.

She got a new 2013 honda fit sport a few weeks ago.

I was glad that she wanted the most economical/reliable choice possible and didn't hesitate to say "get it!" Meanwhile my friends wives are demanding bmws/jettas/audis. She can have her new car, I'll be hoarding three. Currently have my s2000 and an s10 pickup and plan to add a muscle car back into the line up. Pretty sure I'm set on a camaro, I just know I haven't been happy since parting with my last muscle car and need some damn torque in my life.

I have to wait till the first week in February before buying a 2012 ss, in the mean time I will be lurking here.

I personally find it ridiculous for a woman to say "well if you're buying a car I want this"... materialistic much?

I'd just want to drive it.
