Yea I have heard the nightmares. I'm lucky my degree has me stop at pre-calc and I don't have to go high into the science either while still getting a B.S. Pre-calc is basically a joke for me for now since I have already taken it in high school.

Note this joke will only be funny if you know chemistry
Adjust the ratios and throw in the right amount of nitrogen and . In the past, I worked with a lot of organic (C-H-N-O) high explosives.

I should've aced pre-calc since I took it in high school but I got cocky and didn't study for the final. Ended up with a C+ or something.

Whatever. Still haven't used any of that stuff in my full time job.

Yea if you know chemistry you can do a lot of damage. That is one way breaking bad was realistic. The blue meth no so much

I think she's away at lunch, so i'll try to answer...

I believe it's because she bought the car to show. it was never a daily driver. just a weekend driver, for the most part. But because she's given up so much, she had to make it a daily driver for a little while. during that time, it's gotten a little beat up from wear and tear. So once we get on our feet, we want to clean her up nice, and keep her in show condition for as long as possible.

Talking about repaint... since GM paint sucks big time, what would be the best option to repaint and don't have to worry about rock chips, scratches etc...

So then when you guys get on your feet again will u be buying more "show car" stuff. Like wheels and side skirts or diffusers etc

If u want to completely avoid rock chips forever, you'd have to get the whole car a clear bra. Even a weekend driver who only goes to shows can get rock chips. If your talking about just paint. You'd do best with more coats of paint and more coats of clear coat

GM paint doesn't suck in the least, and I know paint. There are plenty of things to complain about with the company, but this isn't one of them.

I am by no means an expert but their paint is fairly weak when compared to other vehicles.

Edit: And when I say their I am talking about on the camaro.
