Oct 5th – Houston Cars and Coffee - LOCATION CHANGE: RELIANT PARK for October

Oct 6th – The Woodlands Cars and Coffee at Market Street Meet

Oct 19th – HTCC Monthly Meeting (Location not announced yet)

Oct 20th – Outlaw Dave’s

Oct 26th – Jackpot Race, Test N Tune, Grudge Race atLonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy

Also every Friday night there is a meet in Pearland in front of Lowe’s and on Saturday nights in Kemah in front of Home Depot.

Location change: October Event moved to Reliant Park

Houston Cars and Coffee will take place at the Reliant Park since it falls on the same day as the Grand Prix. There will be activities and discounts for those who would like to stay for the races. Details regarding parking and a map will be provided soon. This is a one time change, for the month of November it will be back at Vintage Park.

This past weekend we had the Super Chevy Show in Baytown.

The winners from the H-Town Camaro Club include:

1st Place - John Jackson with a 1969 Camaro

Then all the 5th Gens were grouped in the 1993 to Current Camaros.

1st Place Stock - Roy Whittaker with the ZL1
2nd Place Stock - Me! Christine Cappel V6 2LT/RS

1st Place Street and Best Camaro - Charles Eppler with Yellow Transformers V8

Here are some pictures of the event. It starts at Ron Craft for the cruise, to pictures of the car show and races, and ending with following George (Nosbaby) home! Other than wishing we could of all parked together at the car show, I was in great company! I was surrounded by 2 1968 Camaros! Anyway, I wish i would of taken more of the car show rides, but I watched the races all day. It was like I was at mini NHRA races!! It really was a great day to hang with everyone, I can't wait until next year!

Is it going to be real hecktic with the Grand Prix going on? I wanted to bring my family and grand baby this time but not if its going to be chaotic.

Lawdog, not sure if this helps, but we have one of our members that races in the World Challenge, and he says that it’s not on the official event schedule for the Grand Prix and that it shows the gates opening at 8 am Saturday with no mention of C&C. He's not sure if the general public will have a clue about C&C. The Indy cars don't race until 2:40 pm and says that the lesser series (like the World Challenge) doesn’t get much attention from fans ....the crowds show up for Indy.
