I think I understand the reference but I'm guessing you have had to read some of the chapters released from the sixth book to know that or am I forgetting something?

So ive been wanting to talk with people about thw story in general without giving anything away (I read the books). So I finally gave in and watched passed thw first season even though the show bugs me. Too much is changed for me personally to get into it. But I just made it to the wedding... it still sent shivers down my spine.

I think they are doing an amazing job at keeping it close to the books without introducing all the minor characters which makes sense for a TV series..the only minor character I am bitter about...Belwas. He better be in next season...somehow.

I dont remember what it was in season 1 (watched when it first came out) that irritated me enough to stop watching, but theres other things that I feel is a rather large unnecessary change. Like Ramsey Snow and how he took Winterfell after Theon, and Robbs wife seduced him for the Lanisters to prevent him from having a son.

In the TV Show, Robb's wife was changed...probably more for the shock effect during the Red Wedding. Since the books have his wife not at the wedding (and not pregnant), she essentially disappears. Frankly, doesn't really change anything, and for the TV Show, I think it worked well. Talisa wasn't working for the Lannisters, and I'm not sure where you got that idea.

As far as Ramsay Snow, there were changes from the book, however he did take Winterfell from Theon in the Great Sack of Winterfell. How he insinuated himself into the ranks beforehand is different and not shown in the TV show.

One of thw things I like about books is the story can change for person to person based on interpretation, and can work for you or not. They nwver say yes she worked for the Lanisters, it was just a feeling I got. She may not have done it because they came right and told her to, it was probably more to earn favor. But her family were Lannister banner men and she only met Robb after they were defeated. The books had a lot more use of constrceptives in general. Again I dont remeber the story being written with her using them, I just assumed she was secretly with how often Caetlyn said she needed to get pregnant. That and it seems anyone that tried to in this world had a fairly easy time of it, even some of those that didn't. Just my interpretation I guess.

With that being said, I do understand that she needed a bigger role for screen since she was alway with Robb.
