I really thought Ygritte was going to get offed at the tower. I don't know if I was more surprised that didn't happen, or that the wedding event DID happen.

I wouldn't run away from Rose Leslie.

Jon Snow is an idiot for that one.

Well, the last two episodes were weddings (mostly).

I wonder if we get a third wedding this next episode...because it is the season for weddings.

Yes, I've read the books...but to be honest, I'm not sure what events they are going to cover for this last episode...and what they will leave to next season.

The Red Wedding was definitely pretty jarring, even though I knew (mostly) what was going to happen.

I wonder if they are going to show what they did to Robb after the Red Wedding. I kind of want to see Robbwind. Or GreyRobb

Be thankful you didn't read the books and have to wait 5 years for book 4, and then another 6 years for book 5.

By the time season 4 (second half of events in book 3 finish), and then book 4 will be season 5, and book 5 being split into two again (rumored), book 6 should be out.

I can't wait. I mean, I know the story...but like Lord of the Rings...seeing it put to "film" is just too awesome.

I would LOVE to see the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan get the same treatment by HBO...though that would be a 20 year series, lol.

Not a chance! They would need to introduce so many new characters and develop teleporter technology to get the characters where they need to be for that to be in the season finale.

If they made book 4 its own season that really WOULD kill the show - book 4 and 5 will happen simultaneously I'm thinking like it SHOULD have been published

P.S. NERD ALERT!!

Is it book 4 that's being split and then book 5 would be it's own season? I'm trying to remember what my friend (who has read the books) was speculating.

I just re-read the chapters before & after the Red Wedding. I now do think the event I'm thinking of will be the season finale. It'd be a cool way to end the season

Book 3 is Seasons 3+4.

No word has been given on how books 4 and 5 will be split, or even if they will be split. Because book 4 doesn't even touch on several characters, they may combine the two books in some way and do 2 (or 3 or 4) seasons from the material. No word on that yet.
