My wife has done the same thing in the past, it is very hard to keep your cool at times like that. I luckily have never curbed a wheel in my life.

Send her to Bondurant. They use the Camaro SS for their school.
But I think we are simply up against the visibility problem that has been recounted on this site since the introduction. It is nearly impossible to get a feel for where the front right corner is because of the high belt and fender unless you are driving the car all the time. Maybe you need to just let her drive it MORE.

Thanks guys... I couldn't speak to her for hours...I have owned many cars and has never hit a curb either... It's about taking your time and just paying attention... But she took out a huge chunk of that Pirelli... Do I need to replace?? Will that affect the integrity of the tire??

Sorry man, that sucks. Go easy on her, hopefully you'll have her longer than tha car. As for the tire, for peace of mind, I'd replace it. That's just my opinion and what I'd do.

I have never seen a curb rash that ate the tire.
