If the Camaro had to be a 6, in the future, I'd want an I6 for sure. |

But at least the new unconstitutionally mandated "Black Box" recorders will be watching to make sure you don't do any unapproved driving moves. |

Yeah, I suppose the 2.3L Mustang II could be seen as a "FAIL" as seen through a drag racer's eyes. But it wasn't intended for them either then or now (unless you're going to swap an LS-something into it like I'd consider doing). Quote:

A lot of people would buy a 4cyl. version, especially if it was cheaper than even the V6. My bet is that a 4 cyl. version wouldn't be your typical 4 cyl.

High MPG in a stylish American model sporty coupe, e.g. Camaro... plus it's ultimately the buyer's choice and that's not a bad option at all.

Over here, with the tax regimes and high fuel prices, a 4-cyl Camaro would definitely be a good option...

They don't have any 4 cylinder cars you can trade your ZL575 for?

You do realize Mustang's already probably going to an EcoBoost 4 cylinder next gen?

I've heard that. Are 5.0 owners going to trade up wholesale? Everyone seems to feel that V8's are in their way out and that turbo 4rs are the future of muscle cars.

Um, no. What everyone's saying is base V6 Camaros and Mustangs will be replaced by turbocharged 4 cylinders. There will still be V8 engines.
Again, if you want a V8, then buy a V8. Nobody's holding a gun to your head demanding you buy a 2.0T 6th gen. Jesus.

I'm waiting for one SS, GT or Challenger SRT8 owner to swap out their V8 for a 4 Cylinder. Plug and play. The 2013 hybrid civic has a nice gas and electric 4 cylinder engine that gets around 40 mpg.
Take out your LS3 or Coyote engine and drop that Honda in! If you have a 392 Hemi-- think of the gas savings and the wonderful high revving buzz of your new engine as you creep off the line, passing your neighbors toddler on his Big Wheel!:
