Check this stuff out.
Horribly annoying music, but this stuff is imagination-inspiring.

I would have a few questions, like whats its durability? Also they were very careful about what things they used, and the oil based items left some marks, may or may not of been etching....Is it clear? seemed to discolor several of the items. Can it handle wear, such as moving parts or cloth bending? If it doesn't last forever, but like wax, does it have a cumulative issue, how easy is it to remove the old layers? I could think of many more.
Rain X rolls water and stuff off like that, but it has limited application avenues and doesn't last real long and some products will remove or wear it down quicker than others. Over all I like where they are going with this, it should be a great product eventually. |

Yeah. Abrasives are it's weak point. But supposedly it is the most abrasive-resistant so far. There is some figure on their website of 130 I believe referring to some abrasives scale that I'm not familiar with. It wears off, but that only rules out certain things you can do with it. It's obviously too cloudy to apply to your paint. Plus I think it washes off with soap.
The worst part of it is its price. It's freakin outrageously expensive.
