Speedway Children’s Charities presents "Laps for Charity"

Sunday, January 27, 2013 10:00am-4:00pm
Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Here’s one for the old BUCKET LIST! Drivers 18 years of age and older will experience the thrill of driving their car, truck or motorcycle around the 1.5-mile Super Speedway at speeds of 75 mph behind a pace vehicle.
Drivers will feel the rush as they drive their vehicle three times around our track for a $30 donation to SCC. The $30 entry fee is per vehicle; not per person
Too much fun – go around three more times for only $20!
Drivers may get their picture taken in Victory Lane for a $10 donation
Refreshments will be available for purchase while waiting for your turn to hit the track.
Calling all Car Clubs – come on down with your fancy, fabulous wheels. A block of time has been designated just for you between 8 and 10 a.m., so be sure to call and register your club ASAP.
Last year, more than 800 cars participated in Laps for Charity raising more than $32,000 for SCC. Let’s double the number of cars and income this year to help support local children in need.

Pre-Registration is officially closed for "Laps for Charity." You MAY PURCHASE your three laps and Victory Lane photo at Laps for Charity between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday, January 27 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

this is a great event. only bad part, is the date it falls on. lol

i know the Camaro club out there is out of town that weekend, doing the huge camaro run in Havasu. i know a few try to come back for this event. it is a blast, that's for sure!

Going to be my first time! I'm very excited. I'm going with my best friend who has a 2005 6.0 GTO.

also, if you haven't heard of the local camaro club, look up sin city camaro club on Facebook, or sincitycamaroclub.com. if you talk to Alex ("president") tell him assian sent you. he'll know who i am. lol

I did this last summer at Pocono's 2.5 mile track. It was a blast.

It was a lot of fun. They also have a drag strip and a road course right there too. You can pretty much pick your poison. Got up to a little over 100mph. Which is good considering I was behind an H3 and you are not allowed to pass. I let him get pretty far ahead and took off down the back straight away.
