Or, the relationship would be over, at the very least.
Look, I know I can get a little frustrated when playing video games sometimes too, but never to the point where I'm physically damaging any of the equipment. And definitely never to the point where I'm verbally lashing out at people I call my friends. Wait, isn't this thread supposed to be about boats?

As a true sailor (18 year Coast Guardsmen) I take offense to calling him a Seaman. That's an idiot with too much money, no brains and no skill.

![]() I've been sailing pretty much my entire life (50 years), including two Transpacs and one Victoria-Maui. I've done some powerboating as well. Mistake number one was piloting the boat that far in-shore. After watching the video...if I was ever stupid enough to get into the situation he was in...was trying to think of the best way to escape out of there. Not sure if the swells from the direction he came from were less (probably), and I'm not sure he could have escaped by doing a 180 and getting out of dodge. Probably not. He took the first wave fine, however he had too much speed on the second one. Without the speed, though, I'm not sure he could have made it over the wave. I'm really not sure there was a good way to get out of that situation he got in...maybe going 15-25 degrees to the right (waves looked to not be cresting in that direction at that time) at a slower speed. Basically, just utter stupidity to be in that situation in the first place though.
