This is a bed that a friend gave to us when he moved to Costa Rica.....I was told that it is a Opium Bed

Here's something with not much real value but I found interesting. Years ago I purchased a 16.5 inch swing Monarch Lathe from MIT. It has documentaion from being on a ship in WWII. When I got it to my shop and started cleaning out the chip tray, which was full of compunded chips I found this buried in it. It is a Starrett inside mic that goes from 32"-107". It's a little big for use on my Camaro motor LOL

The book is really the star of my collection and the 'wow' item

The M1A1 paratrooper carbine is an Inland, like the originals, and it is in the right s/n block to be 'second run'. But no records of exact s/ns were kept, because they are identical to standard M1 carbines except for the stock. So you can't say for example s/ns 300,000 to 305,000 were all M1A1s. nobody (so far) has found a record of which ones were made into M1A1s. That's why the prices are so high- the "real" ones all have very good documents that back them up. I have no such docs, it's a repro stock. What makes it rare is that in Massachusetts, you can't buy the folding stock. Plus it's has a pistol grip AND a bayonet lug. Big no-nos. Mine's legal because it was here before the ban and could be transferred. It's cool but with that stock it's a losuy shooter. I have a nice M2 carbine stock that makes it a great shooter

The 1903A4 is a forgery; can't afford the real thing, and if I could I wouldn't fire it much. Nuts to that. A fairly good fake but if you know 03A4s you can spot it as a fake in about .001 second! I built it from a 1943 Remington 03A3 that had been sporterized, so it was sort of a reclamation project

The stock is an original USGI stock. I know this because it has the "K" stamped in the cut-off well, plus the person that gave it to me is my Father. he had it in storage since 1962. At the time, there were no repro stocks- no need, you could get surplus stocks cheap. He bought three C- stocks total, out of a barrel of stocks that being one of them. One's on his Smith-Corona 1903A3. That rifle is rare, it's a 6-groove Savage barreled S-C 03A3. All three stocks cost him 15 bucks all together!
Still even the replicas look great. We got very lucky with our 1903a4. A friend of my grandfather was moving to a retirement home and actually gave it to my grandfather who then sold it to my father. We believe is was never re- arsenaled which makes it very rare. As all the markings along with a stock will all the markings. It didn't have the original scope so we found a weaver 330 for it. We have only fired it about 10 times, was thinking of buying a replica but then we got a a3 instead.

Its not as rare or valuable as some of the stuff on here but its stuff i bought with my money when i was 8-9 years old.

The World Cup came to Orlando and I bought a 6 pack of Coke and I bought the "Shaq Attaq Paq" when he was playing for Orlando. I had a bunch of Shaq stuff when he was with the magic, but i threw it all away when he left for the Lakers.

Yeah they are a Silk and Wool mix. I got them for a pretty good price some time back at a bazaar... You know its easy to bargain with the local Afghans depending on how slow business is for them... They appraised for 6800 and 7300 in D.C

Yeah that is exactly what I'm looking for too. An authentic Iranian silk carpet. The last place I was at, they had the market cornered and were charging quite a bit for all the silk carpets. I'm on my way over there so I'm going to try and find a good deal while I'm there. But apparently there is a significant risk for them when they bring them across the border into Afghanistan.

That has EBay written all over it. If you do a completed listing search on "Michael Jordan Sauce" you will find it some for $10000. It was used on the "Mcjordan" burger in the 90's I believe.

How about these (Mike's not mine but he'll never get on here to post them). Posters with ticket stubs from some of his early years concerts he saw:
