Just turn imessage off.
It is under settings/messages.

I'm not sure about the iphone but for android there is an app you can buy that allows you to black list specific numbers and if that number tries to call or message you they will get an automated message saying that your number has been disconnected.
If you want to stop ALL messages, you can do so in your settings. This won't stop Verizon automated messages though. |
