personally it's enough for me to never do the mod..

but then again I don't like having the same mods everyone else does, I kinda dance to a different beat.

glad I opted to go another way with my look.

not knocking your ride or anyone else that has done it, it looks good.. I love the ZL-1 fascia.. Wish I could have afforded a ZL-1 Convertible myself, but it wasn't in the cards this round..

I myself wouldn't be able to live with that difference there unless there was a ZL1 hood in the works to match. It's not as bad as it could be but it'll probably drive you nuts after a while I'd think.

Does anyone know how much on average it would cost to move the bumper lines over?

I've never seen it in person but from what I have seen in pictures, it isn't that big of a deal. For me, when I get it done, I am going to get the lines fixed from gary when i order the kit from him, because that is the type of thing that would really bother me because I am pretty anal about my car. But unless it bothers you, I wouldn't worry about it because the majority of people wouldn't notice at all! so if you wouldn't care then don't waste the money to fix it, otherwise do it!

this is the reason why I chose not to go with the ZL1 look. I wanted something different and that's what I have. I haven't seen another SS in my area with the same look as mine which makes me happy.

I even had this one ZL1 owner come by my store a few months ago and asked how could he get the same front end as mine. lol

Even the OEM front on the camaro doesn't fit well...(Mate up 100% every-time you take it on and off)...
GM should pick up on some Kaizen approaches here *cough cough*

I'm a bit biased because I did change the lines on mine. I've seen a couple now that didn't change them, and to me it's very noticeable. So for me, I'd say do it. Unless you get a great deal on it already painted. If you're getting it painted, no reason not to do it.

Looks awesome. I've got the ACS ports on my list too.

I painted my front bowtie not too long after I got my car. One of my first mods.
