Except the "chicken nuggets" piece. There are very strict laws about using the word "chicken" if the nugget doesn't contain a certain percentage of actual chicken meat.

Just like "Kraft Singles" can't legally be called cheese.

Your VIN tag implies you own an Fbody as well but, we all know it isn't one. Who cares.

this is giving me a headache. I was told by someone who was sure they knew it all that a motor was powered by electricity and an engine is powered by fuel. Now since an internal combustion engine generally has some sort of electrical source as well it qualifies as both? There will be as many definitions of this as there are of the term "muscle car".
Fbodfather said the Camaro is a sport coupe. End of story as far as I'm concerned about what the Camaro is.

I tend to call it an engine; to me, it's the more correct term. Why does it matter? It didn't use to, but with more and more electric and hybrid cars, calling an engine a motor, or a motor an engine will only lead to confusion.

Through loose usage, the two terms have become interchangeable, but they really shouldn't be. The word Motor comes from the Latin word: 'movere', meaning: ‘to move’. The 'motor' (as defined) in motorcycle, motorhome, motor sport etc, doesn't refer to an engine, but to motion or movement, just as motor skills doesn't refer to how well you work on engines.

By strict definition: all engines are motors, but not all motors are engines. There is a difference.

wait a second, I think I get it now.

So an LS3 is a motor and a L99 is an engine. Cause an L99 engine is faster than the LS3 motor.

Wait so my motorboat is not really a boat with a motor in it?

Is my motorhome not really a home with a motor in it?
