Since you're at Patrick, can you take pictures of Endeavour on September 20th?

It's gonna be really sad seeing Endeavour leave. It'll be the last time a shuttle will be in the air.

Found this one on YouTube as well, but I like the vimeo one better because the music fits better. Again, HD...so full-screen it

That's awesome footage, Steve! No lab is better than the one orbiting our planet.

Space Shuttle Endeavour's third and final RSME (Replica Shuttle Main Engine) has been installed. This is the last main engine to ever be installed on a Space Shuttle. Endeavour flew 25 missions in 19 years.

Meanwhile, Space Shuttle Atlantis moves into the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) for temporary storage until Endeavour moves out of the only avaible OPF (Orbitor Processing Facility), OPF-2, in September. Endeavour is scheduled to depart Kennedy Space Center aboard the specially modified 747 for the final time on September 20th, and will land September 21st in Los Angeles. Atlantis will then move into the OPF to complete Transition and Retirement procedures and will roll to the Kennedy Space Center on November 2nd.
This is Atlantis moving out of OPF-1, the final time a Space Shuttle will be in OPF-1.

Hmm.. That's weird. I hope they get it fixed soon.

The only Shuttle you can go into is Explorer in Houston, and that's not even a real shuttle. It's a replica made from the Space Shuttle's blueprints.
