I've been engaged twice-- always managed to get out before I had to marry the guy. I always get break-and-run. I get scared. For good reasons, though. They weren't right for me. Never even THOUGHT about planning a wedding. Even when I was a little girl I never gave it any thought. Figured if I HAD to do it, it'd be after I did everything else. I guess I've just been afraid of actually being that close to someone. It's just not ever been my style.

If I found the perfect guy I'd want to get married on the beach with some tiki torches and a JP.. no big wedding, nothing fancy, less than ten people there.

Skip is my 2nd engagement. The first one cheated on me, at the time I was very upset and couldn't understand how someone could do that too me, but now I am glad cause it lead me to the right person.

I wanted to get married in FL, Skip said he couldnt see being married anywhere but the great state of TX. But small weddings are great, its all abuot what you want and what will make it memeorable for you.

And being afraid of choosing is normal, but when you know you know, and those fears usually come from your subconcious knowing that its not right.
