The original IROCs look much cooler.

They were simple yet elegant. There's too much going on on that car.

what an awesome quote.

as to the picture i really don't see much that relate's it to the IROC-Z. the taillights are sort of similar, but also kind of look like 1974.

I'm sorry, but i fail to see any IROC resemblance in the op's attached photo. Here is a photo of a 1978 Camaro, which i feel it closer resembles. especially considering the 5th gen isnt a hatchback.

I'd be a little more choosey of your words in future thread titles then, because the title + your choice of words in the post made it sound like you wanted to bring that car to life.
and, i dont mean to sound rude but the ignorance behind making the comparison between that and an iroc is pretty offensive. I realize the third gen isnt everyones cup of tea, but its far superior in looks to that hunk of junk photoshop. (yes i realize you found it via google)
I'm not upset, but im just confused as to why an iroc was referenced with this vehicle when all you were referring to were the rims, if thats really the case?

My parents got a IROC the first year it was available. It was a POS. It had a new fuel injection system and it sucked. After a year of everyday driving (not raced or abused) the engine smoked like a steam locomotive.

As for will the GS wheels fit, I think they should, however, I believe they are a different diameter front and rear. Which will most likely case havoc with your ABS and Traction control.

I'm not positive about this however.
