Last year I shot a 279 outside of no tap. Only one frame did I have to use the no tap. Score said 300 but 11 of the strikes were genuine strikes.

208, 298, 278 = 784

Came in 5th.

But I won high game scratch for the season with 290. 3 guys shot 300 but they won High scratch series, high handicap series and high handicap game.

We brought home 150.00 each for our team. Bonnie took my winnings. Again.

CONGRATS.....The idea is to take the winnings and apply it to the bar tab that you ran up all season.....

I take my winnings and put it my bag for next seasons card and league fees. That way I'm covered right off the bat . Plus we have to pay the last 2 Weeks of bowling by the 12week so there is where my winnngs go if I have any .

Ours starts the 14th.

I commited to bowling on Thursday nights starting in the fall. Mens league. So I'll be bowling 2 leagues for the first time since the mid 90s.

We pay for our anchor bowler. It's so hard to find good team mates and he's just Fing fun to bowl with. Loves to run side pots and play cards while we bowl.

Well we were in 1st place going into Thursday night . I shot pretty good ( 655 ) but that 1st game for the other team Killed us , Look at there last bowler with the 182 avg .! We won 4 points but lost the 1 game and total .
Don't know if were are still in 1st for this 3rd but I know were are 2nd in " A " division .

945 is hard to beat no matter what. You guys owned the second and third but 945 is just hard to come back from when they aren't imploding.

This past Saturday was my last day on the lanes for who knows how long now. (shot 182 the first game, made a 4 board move to the outside and shot 256 with strikes in frames 2 thru 9). This upcoming Saturday is fun day 9-pin no tap. I cannot make it but my son will be there and my daughter will bowl for me to have fun. Hope everyone has a fun off season, maybe I will report more scores next fall, if my son and I bowl together again.

How is everyone bowling? I just finished getting my Private Pilot License so I have been having a guy sub for me the past 4 weeks...now I get to bowl on Thursdays...finally!

I was humbled at the Nationals last weekend.

Shot team, doubles and singles.

3 sets.

Highest set.......................

That was a difficult condition and I didn't have the equipment for it. My buddy from Seattle came down and I bowled with them and even he told me that you can't bowl through the wrong equipment.

ANYTHING outside 7 board was a vacuum to the gutter. Just slid like mad. So it had to be played inside and even deep at the end of the second set the second night.

My only two strike balls were aggresive and grabbed way too fast to play deep. Couldn't flatten it out because it would roll out unless I played 15 to 10 ish and then it would hit that out of bounds and fly away.

Even spares were harder because of the immediate slide of the outside.

Don't get me wrong, If I were a better bowler it would have been different but NOBODY we were with shot well at all and I'm the lowest average we had with a 205.

I'm about to start a summer league. It started 3 Weeks ago but a friend called and said him teammate never showed up. It's a 2 man league so tonights my first night sense fall league ended.

As for the nats.. Only one person I know out of say 20 shot over 600 ! All were 200 +avg. Bowlers..
I have 5 balls I carry but its a pain in the ass when traveling. And still struggle lol.
