Also, my fellow houstonians. I am having this

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106551

problem. Anyone have success with dealerships around here? I simply cannot get my car into second at high RPM. That thread seems to point to the dealerships being relatively open to fixing the 1-2 synchros.

If you would like assistance with a supercharger or turbo package, we can definitely get you set up in the near future.
I emailed you.

It's not that there aren't any other reputable shops, but many of us (especially in the H-Town Camaro Club) have had a great experience over there. Some of us have also had bad experiences with other shops, so we avoid using them.

ARD is part of our club, and does great work at a reasonable price. Unlike some other shops, they build their own motors, transmissions, and do custom fabrication in house. PM me if you want more info.

You'll have to check with the tint place to make sure they'll install darker...sone won't. Also, because our windows are shorter the tint really does look darker than on other cars. Just something to think about.

I had it done Saturday. They don't do tint lower than the law allows, but as you stated the tint looks really dark on our cars. I'm happy with it so thanks for the recommendation.

I meant darker than 35%...the legal limit on the front windows.

@ Sir Nuke and Hennessey: thanks for the help guys, I'm going to favorite that list and use it to find a nice inspection shop

I can't wait to get back to Texas, grew up there and have had enough of these mountains.
