Go talk to some shops first and see if that is the best fit for what you are wanting. As Nuke said ARD (Talk to Owen) is a very good place to start.

I've found a tint shop thanks to Dangeruss, but now I need to decide how dark. I know the law is light transmittance value of 25%. Has anyone had issues with law enforcement or inspections because of darker tint? I'm not looking for Limo but a want something darker than the 35% I have on my DD.

I've only had one place actually check my tint and it was on a stock car w/ no aftermarket tint. If I had been lower than the limit I would have been screwed. Most places don't check, but I still kept it legal on my Camaro since it's a PITA to install. I'd hate to ever take it off.

Are there any local tuners in the Houston, Tomball area that can help a Military guy out?
I just need my rear o2's turned off, I'm getting rid of the rear cats and don't want a CEL on. I'm not looking for a free handout but a cheap price would be greatly appreciated thanks.

ill be moving back to texas after a 6 year stint up here in CO. I dont have Cats atm, how strict are they around there about checking emissions nowadays?

It truely depends on where you end up at.....and even if you are in a big city, like Houston, or Dallas.....I am sure you could find a good performance shop that will point you in the direction of a shop that does inspections for their clients, OR you may end up having to install CAT's...or the Cat's SHELL such that they APPEAR to be in the system.

Here is a link to the counties that do the actual sniffer test... If you are not in any of these counties, you will have no issues unless the laws change.

So ARD seems to be the only reputable shop guys on here are suggesting, any other options? Looking to get supercharged or turbocharged here soon

Hennessey Performance would be able to assist you in any way we can, however with our busy workload of builds, we are booking out new installations over 4 weeks at the present time. We do not offer any outside tuning services at this time either has our dyno is constantly being used to finish up the builds that we have on the lifts. If you would like assistance with a supercharger or turbo package, we can definitely get you set up in the near future.
