I've always been a big fan of sport bikes-- but they are pretty uncomfortable when you ride for awhile. I had a Ninja and that was probably my only complaint. Looks-wise I definitely like the Gixx better, but I actually think the Vulcan suits you!! It kind of fits your personality.

I do love sport bikes a lot. Wish I could of kept it, or at least bought a harley vrod. But, that was out of my budget. But I love the new vulcan. I just wish it would get warmer.

Yeah, Harleys are ridiculously expensive. The two guys I used to ride with had Harleys. One buddy had to sell his to have kids and has been dying to save up for once since.

Hopefully it gets warmer soon for you!!

After an 2hours on the road you would change your mind too. Just saying.
It was very fun for short rides, not so much for long ones

like this one?

Haha, I want to go on long trips. Like 5-8 hour trips. Even on a busa thats way too long.

thanks. Just wanted a bike for long trips.

Ehhh...it depends on your riding posture. I did a 7 hour trip down to LA once on my 600RR and I was fine. I only had to do 3 stop inbetween.

Austin,
congrats on the new ride! I have ridded and had bikes my entire life and befroe the camaro only a bike for about 4 years till they stole her and sort of forced me into getting a cage. (That and a new born) plus when ya get violated like that it takes a while to get over it or find a better solution to the problem. I always had sport bikes and the last sport bike I had was a 2000 turbo busa. Had to see beacuse I was moving and had no insurance. After a year I decided to transition over to a cruiser type and tested everything and went with a Suzuki M109. What a great bike. Did a bunch of stuff to it as well and ended up with a torque monster. Had over 130hp\122torque and that thing got more looks than my custom busa beleive it or not and I really enjoyed those long rides to Daytona and 2 up was nice as well! Nothing wrong with changing over. We do get older and our tastes change. Still want another sport bike but not for an everyday ride. If ya ever get a chance to ride a M109 please do. You will be very impressed! It was a perfect transition bike from sport to cruiser!
Here's some pics of the Busa and the M109!
Enjoy your new ride and keep us posted on the mods! Ride Safe!

Thanks for the info man. Those are sick bikes man.

I looked into the suzuki M109s and also the V-Rod Muscle, and I love them both, they were just a little too pricy for me. Also, Another sick bike I was looking at was the honda Fury.

Ill keep everyone posted on the upgrades, and keep safe man.

I like the muscle. Ridden them but still like the Zuki. Sorry but the fury might look ok but is junk and up close it looks cheap. Imo
Muscle might cost ya but you can find a decent 109 for $6k and over. My goal is to build my next cruiser from the ground up and really digging the board track style right now. Want something totally different. Everyone has a chopper or prostreet so I think I'm over those. Shoot, I even have been looking at some baggers. I like all bikes, metric or American. Just want another one soon. Might ever consider another 109!
See your making me jealous now! Lol
Time to go to the bike forums now.
Ride safe.

My thoughts exactly.

BUT... As long as you are happy with your new toy then I am happy for you. (different strokes etc.)

I'm a throttle jockey so I'd never be able to do it. My pasta rocket is just too much fun to consider trading it in for a rolling couch.

I do love the look of that 109 for sure. That might just be my next bike after my mean streak.
