People need to shut up with that "oh its more expensive in other countrie" bullcrap. European countries have DRASTICALLY better public transportation services. There are people who live in france and commute daily to london because its so efficient and quick. Their infrastructure is more based on public transportation and things are closers together. You simply dont need to use as much gas.

Over here in the U.S. though, most places are designed around cars and things are more spread out. We have to drive more and it costs us more.

It's $3.82 here (it held at $3.15 from November - 3/1/12), and even that is bad enough!

How do you think the food gets to the grocery stores?

I know how it gets there, silly... my point still is, if gas was really THAT expensive, then there would be little demand for a 16mpg Camaro... Not giving away numbers, but for most people on here, gas should only be a small portion of their budget. Seriously. If you can afford a 30k car, you can afford the gas. I feel sorry for those people who spend a large chunk of their income on gas (who this is really hurting), but those people shouldn't be driving Camaros if it is...
