Saw film of her leaving some Grammy related event on Entertainment Tonight (or some tabloid show like that) on Friday night - my hubby and I both commented on how she looked like hell. Hopefully she's found peace now - no more fighting the demons of drug addiction.

That's easy. PQ is a confident successful person. That thought is not even on his mind.

Well, at least now it might finally start snowing, since Whitney was hogging it all.

As anybody in the music biz can tell you, it was Dionne Warwick that introduced Whitney to the glass pipe.
Poor Bobby didnt have a clue what he was getting into. It's been said she latched onto him specifically to gets creds from her fellow Black performers.
Too Bad but like they say--You Play You Pay !

After a night of cocaine and alcohol, Bobby reportedly said to Whitney, "Houston, we've got a problem."

I saw an interview a while back with one of Brown's singing pals that said exactly that. Devoe maybe? Whitney was also a ****ing nutter to deal with I believe he said.

Wow. Some of you are brutal.

I am right there in that WH era. And though I was in the Middle East for SB 25 I think its the best Star Spangeled Banner EVER.

They couldn't have chosen anyone better than Jennifer Hudson to sing Whitney's signature song in tribute. That was beautiful.
And, PQ, you're right - Whitney's version of the National Anthem was the best. By far.

I'm sorry, but when our soldiers die protecting this country there is hardly any coverage honoring them and they sacrifced it all for our liberties.....yet a druggie OD's and the world mourns and I cant turn a channel on w/out seeing how "great" this drug abusing (yes, awesome voice no question) disprespectful wasted person. Just beyond my comprehension.
