To me the G8 looks worse than the Pontiac GTO they came out with years ago. Pontiac needed to come out with a car like the Camaro which was a throwback design that looked like the Pontiac Firebirds of old.. They failed miserably with the G8 and the GTO, that is why they are not flying off the shelves..

Regal's coming to the US in late 2011 as a 2012 model. Basically a Chinese Buick Regal, which is a rebadged Opel Insignia.

Yeah i did see the Spyhunter commercial. That was quite a while back. The G8 definately isn't crap. I was shocked when i read Car and Driver compare it favorable to the BMW M5. You know how they love BMW.

The G8 is a great car also, and would be my second choice behind the camaro. Due to the economy, they can be had for very resonable prices right now. Actually I will be paying about 10 grand more on the camaro that I want as opposed to the top of the line G8 I could get right now!! But.........it is not the camaro, so I am going to bite the bullet. (Unless I get messed with on my camaro deal!!)

If my vote counted i'd say scrap that or make it something else. The G8 would make a better regal IMO.

Go DRIVE a new G8 and tell me they failed.
The G8 is an incredible success and is in M5 territory.

All GM needs to do is rebadge the G8 as a Chevy and market it as a "Camaro sedan." I not saying to call it a Camaro, but inform people the G8 is the same platform as the Camaro.

Everyone knows the BMW 3 sedan is on the same chassis as the M3.
GM needs to market the G8 the same way.

No disrespect intended but you are dead wrong, The G8 did not do as well as expected because GM made a classical mistake of makeing the V8 a truly standout awesome trim level, But the V6 was flat-out not competive in todays market. The V6 started at about 28 grand, had virtually the same fuel economy as the V8, and less Horsepower and feul economy than the imports and the tauras (Accord and Camry). When gas spiked up to $4.50 a gallon the V6 simply was not good enough. GM learn there lesson with the camaro that the V6 sales keep V8s alive. If GM gave G8 the Camaros V6 powertrain and Advertise the V6 as a 300+hp yet more fuel efficient sports sedan with plenty of room to boot, I think things would have been different. Also notice the advertising, it is almost 100% towards the V8. The G8 was going to get the 3.6 D.I. V6 and 6 spd trannys for the 2010 MY but Oh well, If the V8 is a BMW 550i at half the price, the V6 G8 could have been a more affordible Bmw 535i.
