That's the 6th Gen Camaro...

Just Kidding!

On a serious note, the ATS that was just announced yesterday and has the alpha platform weighed in around 3400 pounds. That is great news for Camaro fans!

Looks like they started with a Dodge Neon Coupe and went from there.

Awesome! Can't wait to see what they do with this!

Looks a lot like a 1 series BMW though.

Just as a side note:

I hope GM does not go with this look at all for the 6th gen camaro.

If so, expect the same sales result like back in 2002.

The "look" should not be a concern. What it does show is the willingness to go back to rear wheel drive and including it on a whole new platform base. The base can be used for ... what? Z28? ZL1? Who knows? But whatever they do, it will be weighing much less! Maybe less than the new ATS. Now, I don't have an opinion on that until it materializes and I get to "feel" the ride dynamics along with the comfort and noise. I certainly wouldn't want another Chevy Monza A la 1975 ........

The Jalopnik site said this about the new Chevy concept:

"Code 130R, the first Chevrolet concept, is a four-seat coupe that seriously looks like a Camaro that made love to a Mazda RX-7 that had already made love to a 1 Series that was the illegitimate child of a Dodge Neon. We're not saying the design is derivative so much as it is a collage that when combined provides a completely underwhelming design for their perception of America's future."

I hope we are not going back to the Monza days....... ewww

It has a definite RX-8 look to it IMO.

Wow. That;s one ugly car.
