Yes, along with the '76 Caddie El Dorado Bicentennial Edition Convertible, probably the first time when folks bought brand new cars and "stored" them "in the wrapper"...

Well, Becky, the 1970 Corvette was "announced" as having an LS7 engine option (essentially a 454 version of the L88), rated at 465 hp...but NONE were factory-built as the option was cancelled before SOP.

He drove streetcars...
I have his book signed by him...
He lived in Grosse Pointe..not far from here
and I was lucky to have met him a few times....
